The actor-producer says that it's about time for the comedy man to take centre stage

26 Sep - Piolo Pascual is happy for Empoy Marquez and the popularity that he is experiencing after the success of "Kita Kita".

As reported on Push, the actor, who also co-produced the hit indie movie stated that he has always believed in Marquez's acting ability and that the comedy actor is just a star waiting to happen.

"He just needed the right project, the right timing, and the right material," he added.

Pascual is also happy that Marquez is now part of the Kapamilya team, after signing with Star Cinema.

"I'm so excited for him because there's so much to offer. His victory, is a success on our part too," he said.
