Photos from the set of “Ocean’s Eight” are here and it already looks badass
Your first look at the new Ocean’s Eight movie is finally here — and it’s clear that sassy pant suits are in.
On Monday, the first photos from the set of the next Ocean’s installment surfaced featuring three of the movie’s stars. Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter were all photographed out and about while shooting in New York City.
Ocean’s Eight is about stealing a necklace from the Met Ball and this time it is all about the women, which is a shift from the previous Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen which were about male conmen. While the photos from set don’t share too much about the plot they do show the fabulous style which we are going to see on the big screen.
What we do know is that Bullock’s character knows how to work a trench coat.
In fact, she kind of reminds of the actress’s days as Gracie Hart in Miss Congeniality. The big sunglasses, the coat, all the black? You know you see it too.
The two leading ladies were all smiles while shooting a scene in NYC. Side note: we’re currently coveting both of these ladies’ coats!
Blanchett’s character is a little more flashy and sassy based on these pics and we’re big fans of her overall look.
She’s wearing a velvet green suit! We repeat, a green velvet suit!
The two actresses who play con-artists in the film also filmed inside a coffee shop where we can imagine them planning their heist together.
Harry Potter alum, Carter, was also spotted in the streets of New York with her coffee as she got ready to shoot the movie.
Ocean’s Eight also stars Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Awkwafina and Sarah Paulson.
It is set to hit theaters on June 8th, 2018.
