SINGAPORE — More than 190 brands are opening in Funan Mall, which reopens this Friday (28 June) after a three-year revamp. The tenants span the six themes of Tech, Craft, Play, Fit, Chic and Taste. Out of the pool, 60% of the brands originate from Singapore, across fashion, design and food.

In the food category, creative confectionary Nasty Cookie will debut their brick-and-mortar outfit, while popular coffee roaster Papa Palheta, the group behind Chye Seng Huat Hardware, will be launching Singapore’s first employee-store, PPP Coffee – the unique thing about this store is that it is only open to Papa Palheta's employees and their friends or family. Sinpopo Brand will open its first Sinpopo Coffee concept in Funan.

Foodies can also enjoy the farm-to-table concept right in Funan, with an Urban Farm on Level 7. Operated by Edible Garden City, farmers will work with chefs to curate, grow and harvest pesticide-free produce, supplying the produce straight to restaurants in Funan. Singapore’s Spa Esprit will launch its first Japanese restaurant, Noka, situated next to the Urban Farm. Visitors can also enjoy new dining concepts such as godmama’s modern Peranakan cuisine paired with a special menu of Peranakan-inspired cocktails.

Funan Mall will open to the public at 11.30am on Friday, 28 June 2019. For more info, visit www.funan.com.sg.
