A photo of Lin Chi-Ling's mother as a young woman attracts attention

16 May - Lin Chi-Ling recently attracted attention for her Instagram post, though this time, it wasn't for her beauty.

It was her mother's instead.

On 14 May, in celebration of Mother's Day, the Taiwanese actress shared an old photo of her mother holding a young Chi-Ling in her arms, and wrote, "Maybe you and I are starting to worry about the lives of our parents. Maybe you are starting to feel the flight of time. Maybe you have a lot of love. Maybe there is a lot of helplessness too. Think about the childhood maybe we don't remember."

"After being a mother, I miss my mum even more," she added.

She also mentioned her son, saying that after having a child, she began seeing the world from a different perspective, relearn everything, and accompany her child to grow up happily.

Netizens were quick to comment on the older Mrs Lin's beauty, with most of them saying that she looked like Korean actress Son Ye-Jin.

One commenter expressed, "Your mum is so beautiful, no wonder you are too. Happy Mother's Day."
