Phil Lam and wife Rikko Lee to welcome first baby

1 Mar - After six years of marriage, Phil Lam is happy to announce that he and his wife are expecting a baby.

The singer shared the good news on social media on 28 February with several photos of him and wife Rikko showing off the ultrasound photo of the baby, writing, "New member of the family!!"

"We are very happy and grateful to receive the most precious gift. Never thought that I would have a dragon baby. We look forward to you coming into this world. There will be many challenges to come, but we will do everything we can to give you all the love in the world," he added.

Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate the singer, including Jay Fung and Shiga Lin, the latter who is also pregnant with her first child.

Meanwhile Tim Wong of Dear Jane wrote, "Congrats Philly! Welcome to the club! Awesome news!"

Phil and Rikko tied the knot in 2017.
