Find your perfect neutral with COAT Paints' new Polite Palette
The New Year is fast approaching, and with that often comes an impulse to update and refresh our living space by painting a room, or a couple of rooms. If such a job is on your agenda for 2024, allow us to introduce you to Coat Paints' new Polite Palette – a collection of muted paint colours designed to provide you with the perfect neutral.
At this time of year, we often hear about the predicted Colours of the Year for 2024 - for example, Pantone's latest peachy colour, or Dulux's light pink shade of the next 12 months. And while we love getting inspiration on our colour choices, it can feel overwhelming. So if you are indeed feeling confused over the right paint shade for your space, you may instead want to opt for safer, more muted tones; which is where Coat Paints' latest range comes in.
The eco-friendly brand's new Polite Palette is made up of 15 subtle new paints which they say have been 'created to play the humble backdrop, rather than the star performer'.
The paints, which join their range of 80 other shades, all come in various muted colours across the colour spectrum, from light greys for those who want a classic, timeless look, to pretty, neutral pinks for a pop of colour, and subtle green and blue off-white shades, to allow you to incorporate the natural world into your home.
'Rather than dictate a Colour of The Year like most, we’d rather evolve our palette in-line with what our customers actually want', Rob Abrahams, co-founder and CEO of COAT Paints explains. 'The Polite Palette for 2024 reflects the constant discussions we have with customers about finding the perfect neutral. More and more, customers are looking for muted, nuanced colours that defy trends. We’re hoping to help people who subscribe more to timeless style than transient fashions.'
All 15 Polite Palette colours are available in five finishes; eggshell, soft sheen, exterior eggshell, flat matt and floor paint, meaning they can be applied almost anywhere. And for the environmentally-conscious, they are all made to order, with zero waste, and the paints themselves are low-VOC and water-based. The packaging of the paints is also 100 per cent recyclable or recycled.
