Paulo Avelino happy to work with Piolo Pascual
6 Oct – Paulo Avelino recently admitted that being in the same television drama with Piolo Pascual is an honour for him.
The actor, who co-stars alongside Piolo in the ABS-CBN remake of Korean drama, "Flower of Evil", says that he has watched Piolo's performance since he was in elementary school.
"I used to only watch Papa P in elementary and high school. It's like it's an achievement that those you used to admire, you have the opportunity to work with them and learn from them," said Paulo, much to Piolo's amusement.
On the other hand, as reported on ABS-CBN, Piolo expressed admiration for his younger co-star, saying that Paulo specifically didn't watch the original drama in order to give his own take on the character.
Based on the Korean drama of the same name, "Flower of Evil" stars Piolo as Jacob, a man who hides his real identity and past life from his detective wife. Meanwhile, Paulo plays the real Jacob.
The series co-stars Lovie Poe, Joem Bascon, and Rita Avila among others.
