Paulo Avelino enjoys working on Korean remake of "Flower of Evil"

15 Jul – Paulo Avelino recently admitted that he is ecstatic to be a part of the new Kapamilya drama, "Flower of Evil".

The actor, who has never starred in a remake of a Korean drama before, stated that the series marks the first of many things for him, including playing a character that is completely different from all of the other roles he has done.

"It's one of the reasons why I wanted to do this role. I think it's different from the Korean series, if not also different from anything I've done before. Coming from rom-com to this, it's really different," he said.

It is noted that prior to the said drama, Paulo starred in the romantic comedy series, "Marry Me, Marry You".

In "Flower of Evil", the actor plays the real Jacob Del Rosario, whose identity was taken over by Daniel Villareal, played by Piolo Pascual.

Asked about the challenges of playing the character, he said, "Everything from the character to the ones made for the scenes, even the dynamics of the characters, nothing is easy and I'm sure it's not just me but also for the whole cast."

The series, which is a remake of the 2020 Korean drama of the same name, co-stars Lovi Poe, JC de Vera, and Joem Bascon among others.

The original South Korean series stars Lee Joon-Gi, Moon Chae-Won, and Jang Hee-Jin.
