Paul Chun and son Benji Chiang to work together for the first time
28 Nov – Paul Chun and son Benji Chiang are set to work together in the upcoming Hong Kong movie, "Dai Doh Yin" (working title).
As reported on Singtao Daily, the father and son duo, who appeared at the launch of the said project recently, admitted that it will be the first time the two of them are collaborating with each other.
"I'm very happy to see my son continuously improving himself. I have always been supportive of him joining showbiz and doing something that I don't know how, like writing songs," said the veteran star.
Paul also stated that a lot of people assumed that the two of them would often discuss about work at home, though that was never the case at all.
"We wouldn't do that. We usually have casual chats when we're having dinner at home," he said.
On the other hand, Benji said that Paul will have an important role in the movie.
"It will be a huge turning point of the entire film. He will motivate us the young ones and inspire us," said Benji.
Directed by Cub Chin and Paul Chung, the upcoming movie tells the story of two production crews who experiences a series of accidents and mistakes while filming a new movie in Thailand. It is scheduled to be released on Lunar New Year next year.
