Paris Hilton's stars keep rising, and this memoir may be set to dazzle

Paris Hilton is a mum now, and she's releasing a memoir this March 2023.

Multi-hyphenate Paris Hilton – socialite, entrepreneur, DJ, actress, singer, heiress, and now mother – is releasing her autobiography on 14 March 2023. The memoir is set to reveal intriguing further insights into her outwardly dazzling life – it's been three years since her documentary 'This Is Paris' shed light on allegations about her physical, emotional, and mental abuse at Utah's Provo Canyon School in the 1990s and circumstances surrounding her infamous sex tape, amidst other intimate details. It also caused a stir online when she spoke without her signature baby drawl, revealing that her "dumb blonde" persona has always been a front due to the trauma she's faced.

Fast forward to 2023, and she's a newly minted Mum to baby boy Pheonix with husband Carter Reum, after starting IVF processes during the pandemic with a surrogate mother.

Onwards and upwards, as we say, since this memoir about releasing a memoir on 14 March 2023, which has been described as "Shocking, funny, and surprisingly profound ...deeply personal memoir of the ultimate It Girl and a stunning inside view of a pop culture phenomenon."

The memoir is going onto my to-read list, due to the recent surge of interest in the biographies of personalities, such as Bossypants by Tina Fey, 'Dear Girls' by Ali Wong, and of course, the most recent 'Spare' by Prince Harry. The hidden world of the privilege is always an illuminating read.

Here are what we can gather from excerpts of her book, where she will detail some of her most personal and private stories she has never revealed publicly.

  • A deep-dive into her formative years, and the abuse she went through at Provo Canyon

  • Paris Hilton "tried to smuggle" Khloé Kardashian into a Los Angeles nightclub

  • She was pregnant at 22, but made the difficult choice to not keep the baby

  • The measures she took to keep her son's birth private

If you're thinking about whether or not Paris Hilton's documentary is worth a watch or if her book is worth a read, I'm going to leave you with this food for thought.

"The fact that this documentary didn't cause the same ripples that the sex tape did, speaks volumes about our society."

And that's not hot.
