It seems almost strange to have reached the third quarter of a tumultuous 2020, but if history is anything to go by, time will always move forward. Which brings us to the newly launched Pantone’s Autumn '20/Winter '21 colour report, a timestamp for the fashion world’s seasonal collections. As usual, it is filled with strong colours that one might usually expect for autumn or winter. But just like this peculiar year, a particular colour stood out: Almond Oil.
Nope, we’re not talking about some newest health fad, but instead a colour that stands out among its counterparts for its simplicity and gentleness. Slightly off-white, Almond Oil feels more spring-like instead of autumn and winter, but we’re not complaining because honestly, isn’t the promise of a new start what we would like to look forward to?
