Pakho Chau nervous about new song

30 Sep – Pakho Chau recently admitted that he was nervous and couldn't sleep all night after releasing "Aftermath" - his first song in two years.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke about the new song at the Po Leung Kuk Gala Spectacular, shared that he was worried that his fans would not like his latest work as it has been a while since he last recorded a song, especially since a lot has changed since his last record - from his marriage, the birth of his child, and the pandemic itself.

"It was fortunate that the response has been great," he said.

As for his daughter Sam Yuet's appearance in the music video, Pakho stated that it was filmed back when she was only four-months-old.

"She is ten-months-old now and was in a daze watching herself at four months," he said with a laugh.

The new song has received more than 77,000 views since it premiered on YouTube on 25 September. In the video's description, Pakho described the song as a product of how much he had learned about life, love, and self-improvement.
