Pakho Chau knew Benjamin Yuen from an online chatroom
29 May – Pakho Chau recently revealed that he actually knows TVB actor Benjamin Yuen for more than 20 years.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who attended the promotional event of his new TV show, "The PakhoBen Outdoor Show" alongside the actor, shared that they knew each other from interacting on the old online chatroom network, ICQ-Chat, in the past.
"He was already popular for being the most handsome kid in school and his ICQ account was spreading on the internet. So I added him. That's how became friends," he said.
Benjamin stated that it was interesting that they later collaborated in a play, followed by the TVB series, "Line Walker".
Speaking about the show, in which the two buddies go to different camping sites throughout Hong Kong, Pakho said that he found one thing annoying about Benjamin after spending a lot of time with the actor.
"He talks really slow. There were lots of times when I had to ask him to speak faster, maybe because I am used to talking that way. Sometimes he would send voice messages that go longer than 20 seconds," he said.
To that, Benjamin laughed and said, "I have learned to speak much faster after he mentioned it."
On the other hand, the two stars revealed the show also invited several celebrity guests throughout the season, including Raymond Wong, Tony Hung, Mandy Wong, Hana Kuk, and Benjamin's own girlfriend, Bowie Cheung.
