Pakho Chau joins Voice Entertainment
15 Jul - After much speculation, Pakho Chau finally announced that he is joining TVB New Media and The Voice Entertainment, home of stars such as Jinny Ng, Fred Cheng, and Stephanie Ho.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer recently appeared at the special conference to announce the good news, and revealed that he has signed a three-year contract with the company.
Pakho said that besides expanding his music career, he is also interested in trying something new in his film career. He is set to star in four new films with the company, and will be holding a five-show tour.
In addition, the singer also hopes that he will have the opportunity to record a theme song.
"In the future, I will let the company deal with all the arrangements while I focus on making my own music," he said.
Pakho also expressed his gratitude to his former record label, Warner Music, in a Facebook post he published soon after, saying that he has learned a lot through their past cooperation.
He wrote, "I am a man who likes to try something new. There's a lot of new ideas in life that I would like to try and realise. Thanks to my new company, TVB New Media, and my manager for giving me the greatest freedom to do what I want to do."
