25 Jul 2023 marks a sad day for all who adore famed Million Star Fried Banana in Changi Village. On this day, owner Chan Fook Chee passed away aged 79.

This news hits very soon after his son James (who was the second-generation owner) passed away in Feb 2022 from a heart attack. Following James’ death, both parents resumed business again.

Having been operating for more than 20 years, Million Star Fried Banana has built quite the reputation, thanks to their to-die-for Banana Raja (S$1 for smallS$1.50 for big). Ooey-gooey banana is truly the star of the show, incredibly rich and not overpowered by their thin batter.
