Owen Cheung to have four new TVB series in 2019

11 Nov – It looks like TVB is planning to promote Owen Cheung as its next lead star, as the actor has been given the most acting projects for the year 2019.

As reported on HK01, the broadcaster recently held its annual Sales Presentation in Tseung Kwan O, where it was revealed that the actor will have four new series next year.

The actor is the first male lead in the sci-fi comedy "The Offliners" that co-stars Jacqueline Wong, Jason Chan, and Moon Lau, as well as in "Airport Security Unit", which is currently in production.

He is also playing second male lead in "Finding Her Voice" and the third lead in the upcoming period drama "Justice Pao: The First Year".

However, it must be noted that two of Owen's 2019 series have already been shot in 2017.

Meanwhile, Kelly Cheung and Samantha Ko are two of TVB's former supporting actresses who will play more significant roles in the company's 2019 series, with both having three dramas to be aired next year.
