Owen Cheung, Apple Chan announce breakup
6 Apr – TVB actor Owen Cheung recently confirmed that he and girlfriend of three years, Apple Chan, have called it quits.
As reported on Mingpao, on 3 April, the actor shared a photo of him sitting next to an empty chair, writing, "Thank you for the wonderful memories of the past few years. Everything is as warm as it was yesterday."
He also stressed that there was no third party involvement in their decision and that they will continue to express support for each other.
Apple also shared a similar photo, with her sitting next to the empty chair instead, and published the same post.
The two stars, who graduated from the same training class in the same year, had been dating for three years after working together in "Come Home Love".
When asked about the breakup recently, Owen stressed that it was not an April Fools' joke.
"We are still friends and care for each other. I hope everyone will give us some space," he added.
