Oscar Li questions lack of his name on new drama poster
27 Mar – Hong Kong actor Oscar Li recently expressed his frustration on social media upon finding out that his name was not listed in the new poster of his upcoming drama, "Justice Pao: The First Year".
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who plays one of the four enforcers of Kaifeng in the upcoming drama, recently shared the said image on Weibo, and stated that while the poster did have his face, it makes no mention of his name at all.
On the other hand, the poster listed the names of other actors like Grace Chan, Carlo Ng, and Hugo Wong - although their images were not on the poster and despite the fact that they only play guest roles.
Oscar said that he "hopes" that this is just a misunderstanding and a technical error, adding that respect is more important than fame and fortune.
When contacted by the media about the issue, Oscar, who is currently filming the drama in Hengdian, shared that the issue is not related to the crew of the production, and that he will always be honest with his thoughts whenever he thinks something is unfair or unreasonable.
Soon after, Oscar posted another message on Weibo, this time with a new poster bearing his name, and wrote, "I am very grateful to TVB colleagues in the relevant department for the speedy amendment. I believe that with mutual respect and good communication, you can do better."
