Orlando Ho admits to divorce amid cheating rumours
28 Jul – First they surprised people by announcing their marriage and the arrival of their daughter Tittania, then they unexpectedly revealed that they have welcomed a second child, Tylia.
Now, in the midst of reports of him cheating on wife Gigi with a younger woman, Orlando Ho revealed that the two of them have actually parted ways for months.
As reported on Mingpao, in a statement released on social media the businessman and son of the late Stanley Ho revealed, "I am responding to the media's report only now because there have been a lot of things happening at home recently, and it is not suitable to disclose matters involving Gigi and me. I am sorry for that."
"Gigi and I actually completed the divorce proceedings a few months ago. Although we are separated, we still maintain a good family relationship and will continue to give care and responsibility to our children. I hope everyone can give us some space and not disturb our private life. Especially the kids, I hope you understand, thank you."
Prior to the statement, Orlando was spotted at the airport with Gigi and their two daughters, apparently to send them off to visit her mother in Shanghai.
It was last week that the businessman was spotted holding hands with a younger woman, who was later identified as 20-year-old Alice Chung. Alice had since deleted all her social media accounts following news of her romance with Orlando.
