Olivia Rodrigo Just Dropped a Sony Earbuds CollabSony

If you, like me, (and quite frankly, the rest of the world) have only been streaming Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS for the last couple of weeks—you’re in for a treat. The Grammy-winner just announced that she was partnering with Sony to create a pair of limited-edition purple earbuds, and just like any other teenage girl in her twenties would, I ran to find out more. Below, all the info you need to know about the new LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo.

Not only do these new Sony earbuds come in Rodrigo’s perfectly purple signature colorway, but they also have a feature that promises to enhance your cry session listening party. Alongside her producer Daniel Nigro, Rodrigo tuned her headphones to have Custom EQs (special equalizers) that optimize both of her albums, Sour and Guts. These modes are available with Sony’s Headphones Connect app when you pair the signature LinkBuds S over Bluetooth. In short, you’ll be able to listen to all the unique production details—such as background harmonies and sound effects—your current earbuds might be missing.

It wouldn’t be a Rodrigo launch unless it was purple, right? Aside from her classic shade, the design itself is one I can’t stop thinking about. Each of these earbuds are made of factory-recovered plastic and recycled water bottles, creating a unique marbled pattern on the exterior charging case and the buds themselves. So you can expect no two pairs to have the same pattern.

These headphones won’t be officially released until next month, but you can preorder Sony’s Olivia Rodrigo LinkBuds S on Sony.com now. And if you’re trying to make sure you get a pair before they sell out, let’s just say, it wouldn’t be a *bad idea* to go run and do that now.
