“The Office’s” Angela Kinsey gushes about being a mom, it’s all too much cute to handle

Sometimes the feels just hit you when you least expect it. Angela Kinsey, who played the unforgettably harsh, cat-loving version of herself on The Office, might have the most precocious and adorable daughter, ever. Isabel Ruby is eight years old and she isn’t shy about doling out the warm and fuzzies.

Isabel Ruby isn’t shy about giving her mom encouragement.

“She loves to draw me notes. She writes, ‘Mom, I love you. You’re the best mom ever,'” Angela said in an interview with People.

But what separates Isabel Ruby apart is that she’s a sensitive soul. She speaks in beautiful poetry that makes our hearts do little backflips.

According to Angela, “She has this expression she made up. I don’t know where it came from, but it absolutely makes my heart melt. She says, ‘Mom, I love you with the hope of my heart.’ I don’t even know what that means, but it’s so sweet.”

We love you, Isabel Ruby with the hope of all of our hearts!!!

But Isabel Ruby isn’t just all flowery language. She’s a straight shooter, and she has that savage honesty that only a kid can pull off.

“We might see a neighbor, and they’ll say, ‘Your hair looks nice,’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, I didn’t really do much with it,’ “And Isabel will say, ‘Yeah, you did. It took you, like, five tries to get that ponytail!’”

Yes, gurl. Ponytails take work and it’s important to acknowledge that.

Angela’s next project will be starring in the Netflix series, Haters Back Off, the show about Colleen Ballinger-Evans’ YouTube character, Miranda Sings. Angela is playing Miranda’s mom, which is probably the most brilliant casting decision ever made.
