Get ready to run through dry-lips season like it ain’t nothin’, beauty mavens. Everyone’s favorite drugstore makeup brand Maybelline will soon release its beloved Baby Lips balm as a highly pigmented crayon — and our lips are happier just thinking about it.
Allure reports that the Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon line will be available in January, meaning your lips will be beautifully tinted and soft as can be for every post-New Year’s Eve kiss with the bae you met over the holidays.
Beauty writer Jen of Budget Beauty Blog got an early look at the new crayons and shared this envy-inducing sneak peek on Instagram.

The line will include eight brightly colored crayons: Sassy Scarlet , Toasted Taupe, Creamy Coral, Strawberry Pop, Blush Burst, Playful Purple, Pink Smooch, and Refreshing Red. The collection is a follow-up to the much-loved Baby Lips Glow Balm line, released this summer. That product is an oil-based lip conditioner that magically becomes the perfect shade of pink based on your pout’s pH balance.
We’re confident that these new crayons will be just as moisturizing and comfortable as every other product in the Baby Lips line. After all, seven tubes of Baby Lips are sold every 15 seconds — so we know this stuff is working.
