Nozomi Sasaki supports husband Ken Watabe's return after his sex scandal

8 Feb – Now that her husband is making his showbiz return nearly two years after his sex scandal, Ken Watabe's wife, Nozomi Sasaki is happy to support the comeback.

The model-actress recently took to social media to announce the news, writing, "I am reporting to everyone. My husband will be returning to work from today. From now on, I will watch over my husband as he starts from scratch, and I am grateful more than ever to move forward with our family."

Nozomi also stated that she is thankful for all the warm words from fans and friends alike.

"Also, over the last few years, there have been many articles and speculation that are not based on facts, but I will continue to do my best. I will continue to express my feelings on this Instagram, so I appreciate your understanding," she added.

At the same time, the actress, who has been married to Ken since 2017, also expressed hope that people will refrain from interviewing or taking pictures near their home or their child.

Comedian Ken Watabe had taken a hiatus since June 2020, after it was reported that he had extramarital affairs that included sexual activities inside public toilets. He had since apologised for his mistakes, saying that he was stupid, selfish and greedy.
