The nostalgic Original White Rabbit is back in ice cream form, starting today

From what I can remember from my childhood, no Chinese New Year gathering was complete without carefully unwrapping the Original White Rabbit sweet and popping it into my mouth, but not before first savouring the thin rice sheet that encased it. Now, the taste of nostalgia comes by way of the White Rabbit Ice Cream, that’s launching in Singapore today.

As Singapore’s only authorised distributor of the ice cream, Hao Productions is bringing the ice cream to 63 NTUC supermarkets as well as the NTUC Online Marketplace. This means that you’ll be able to indulge in the milky, chewy dessert a lot sooner than you think.

A box of five sticks retails at S$12—perfect for feeding your family, your friends, or yourself. Yes, have all five to yourself, we don’t shame ice-cream addictions in this house. Go forth, relive the days of find saccharine snacking.

Before this, the official Original White Rabbit Ice Cream was launched internationally in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, and the United States, before arriving in our sunny shores.

First launched in Shanghai last year, the White Rabbit Ice Cream is a collaboration between the Bright Dairy & Food Co. Ltd and Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan Food Ltd., both of which are established and China time-honoured brands recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. To ensure the quality and safety of this treat for its consumers, the White Rabbit Ice Cream is crafted in accordance with the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) system at Bright Dairy & Food Co. Ltd, which was also the first company in China to win international accolades for their production processes.
