Norreen Iman exposes fraudster claiming fake compensation
21 Nov - Norreen Iman recently expressed ire over someone in Kedah trying to deceive a veterinary clinic using her name.
The actress and internet celebrity said that she received a call from a veterinarian in the said state telling her that someone claims to be her cousin and told the clinic how Norreen has received compensation amounting to RM11,000 for the death of her beloved cat.
"This is a scam. My cat died and then this person claimed to be my cousin and telling others I have received compensation. When did that ever happen? And now this person wants that Kedah vet to pay her too," she said.
Norreen also shared a screenshot of the text messages she received from the veterinary clinic, saying, "I do not have a cousin called Siti. All of my relatives are doing well in Johor."
"To this Siti person, please do not make up stories about me getting compensation. And what's the connection between you and me anyway?" she added.
In another post, Norreen revealed that the said Siti person wanted the clinic to pay her RM10,000 in compensation after her cat ran away, though the incident occurred in September.
It was last weekend that Norreen shared a video of her crying over the loss of one of her cats, which was revealed to have died after being sent to be spayed at a veterinary clinic near her home.
