Noor Kumalasari is happy that sister Anita Sarawak is doing fine
2 Jan - Veteran star Noor Kumalasari is breathing a sigh of relief after finding out that her sister Anita Sarawak is doing just fine following recent update from Anita's good friend.
The 68-year-old singer told the media that what's important to her is that her 72-year-old sister is actually healthy and well, following previous rumours that Anita was battling cancer.
"It's been a long time since I saw her since she moved to Las Vegas. 14 years is not a short period of time. Seeing her new photo, it really cured my longingness for her. She looked more fresh, cheerful. Mahathir also looked okay and healthy," she said.
Noor also said that she believes that all of Anita's fans are praying for the singer's well-being.
It is noted that the photo of Anita and Mahathir was sent to The New Straits Times (NST) entertainment reporter Shuib Taib, who contacted Anita to invite her to perform at a special tribute concert for the late composer Datuk Adnan Abu Hassan.
Anita was revealed to have declined the offer through Mahathir, saying that she is now retired and preferred a more private life.
