‘No One Will Save You’ Is Safe at No. 1 on Top Streaming Movies List | Chart

Following a limited theatrical premiere, “No One Will Save You” debuted on Hulu on Friday. It ranks as the No. 1 most-streamed film for the weekend of Sept. 22-24 on Whip Media’s Movie Ranker, which uses viewership data from its consumer app, TV Time, which has over 28 million registered users globally.

The film breaks the mold by only having one line of dialogue throughout the entirety of its 93-minute runtime. The sci-fi horror film stars Kaitlyn Dever in the role of Brynn, a young woman who finds herself fighting for her life after aliens invade her home.

After breaking records for Disney+ last week, Pixar’s “Elemental” continued to attract viewers to the platform this weekend, earning the No. 2 spot on the ranker. Disney executives reported “Elemental” had debuted as the most viewed movie in its opening week on Disney+ this year, more than doubling the views amassed on the platform by the live-action adaption of “The Little Mermaid.”

Speaking of, “The Little Mermaid” followed at No. 3, maintaining its position from last weekend’s ranker.

Entering the ranker at No. 4 this weekend was “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” the latest film in the “Ninja Turtles” franchise, following its release on Paramount+ this past week. Serving as a reboot to the “Ninja Turtles” series, the film features a star-studded ensemble cast including Seth Rogen, Maya Rudolph, Paul Rudd and Jackie Chan. The film performed well at the box office, grossing 167 million worldwide and has been regarded by critics as one of the best “Ninja Turtles” films. Paramount has already greenlit both a sequel film and a follow-up TV series that is set to debut on Paramount+.

Falling from its No. 2 spot last week, Netflix’s “Love at First Sight” comes in at No. 5 on this weekend’s ranker.

After releasing in April with a lukewarm box office performance, “Guy Ritchie’s the Covenant” is now streaming on Amazon’s Prime Video and ranks No. 6 this past weekend. The action film stars Jack Gyllenhaal as an army sergeant fighting the Taliban alongside his Afghan interpreter, played by Dar Salim.

Other titles that appeared on last week’s ranker including “Love at First Sight,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “Fast X,” and “The Flash” have all fallen several positions in the rankings.

Rounding out the ranker at No. 10, Netflix original film “Spy Kids: Armageddon” was released last weekend on Sept. 22 to mixed reviews. The fifth installment in the “Spy Kids” franchise serves as a reboot and is the first film in the comedy action series released since 2011.
