These Nike Dunk and Air Force 1 Lows Celebrate One of the Golden State Warriors’ Most Beloved Teams
The NBA All-Star Weekend is just a week away, and Nike has announced a two-sneaker tribute for the team playing host.
The Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low “We Believe” pack celebrates the 2000s era Golden State Warriors by using the team’s former color scheme. Specifically, Nike calls out the 2000 NBA All-Star Game and the beloved 2006-2007 “We Believe” team as points of inspiration for the shoe’s making use of blue, orange and yellow.

“Home” and “Away” looks inform the two shoes, as the Air Force 1 Low invokes the latter with blue claiming the most territory through the upper and midsole. A red, orange and yellow gradient lines the Swoosh, while the sockliner and outsole pop in yellow and red, respectively. On the mustache you’ll find a new retro style Nike wordmark modeled after that of the Muni Metro in San Francisco.
The white “Away” Dunk Low brings its color through a gradient Swoosh, red outsole and blue sockliner and mustache. A yellowed midsole adds a further sense of vintage, and the same logo appears on this mustache as well.
2000 was the last time the NBA All-Star Game came to the Bay Area, and the “We Believe” team is known for punching well above its weight by becoming just the third-ever no. 8 seed to defeat a no. 1 seed in the playoffs. The most famous image from that playoff run, which would be the last for the team until 2013, was Baron Davis dunking over the Utah Jazz’s Andrei Kirilenko.
The Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1 “We Believe” will release February 16 through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $145 and $125, respectively.
