Nicole Kidman Goes Strapless in Structured Fendi Couture Gown to ‘Expats’ Premiere With Keith Urban
Nicole Kidman brought drapes and glamour to the “Expats” special screening in Sydney on Wednesday, looking to Fendi for her custom haute couture gown.
The strapless number featured a corset top with side draping and a high-leg slit. Styled by Jason Bolden, Kidman’s look was from the brand’s fall 2023 couture collection.

“Noticing that the draped dresses he did last season sold extremely well, Jones went to town with liquid jersey and meaty satin, creating semi-caped and gently whorled silhouettes,” WWD reported on the collection in July, which was headed by creative director Kim Jones.
When it came to hair, Kidman channeled Old Hollywood glam with a voluminous updo, including blond curls that framed her face.
Joining the actress at the series special screening was her husband Keith Urban, who made a case for stripes in a pinstripe suit with platform boots.
Kidman and Urban have posed together on several red carpets throughout 2023. The couple was last spotted at the 2023 CMA Awards in November, where Urban presented Lainey Wilson with the Entertainer of the Year Award.
There, Kidman wore a black cutout Coperni dress inspired by a musical instrument, with details including a hand percussion triangle on her bodice.
“Expats” is a limited-series centering around a close-knit group of expatriates based out of Hong Kong. The cast includes Kidman, Brian Tee, Ji-young Yoo and Sarayu Blue. Arriving to Prime Video on Jan. 26, the show is based on the 2016 novel “The Expatriates” by Janice Y. K. Lee.
