True to form, Nicki Minaj did not go unnoticed as she stepped out in New York City yesterday. The rap star, who just released her album “Pink Friday 2” on Friday, was pictured wearing a loud Barbiecore-inspired look ahead of her appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

The flamboyant ensemble included a fluffy hot pink hooded coat paired with glossy black patent leather pants tucked into neon pink fur boots. The bold booties she wore featured a square toe and a chunky block heel and hit slightly below the knee.
The Trinidadian rapper also sported a multicolored headscarf underneath her oversized hood. This sighting coincided with Minaj revealing that she’ll be heading out on tour in the upcoming year.
The “Super Freaky Girl” hitmaker was later seen leaving the NYC studios in another head-turning outfit. She donned a long highlighter yellow fur coat, also featuring a hood, over an orange graphic T-shirt and skinny jeans teamed with a glittering bright green version of Givenchy’s iconic “Shark Lock” boots. The knee-high style boasts a notable foldover silhouette.
Minaj took to Instagram today to share some snaps of herself posing in the vibrant look, which she topped off with a silky pink floral headscarf.
It’s no surprise to see the “Beep Beep” rapper modeling head-turning duds on the streets of the Big Apple. Since rising to fame in the 2010s, she’s become known for her statement-making style on and off the red carpet. Some of her favorite luxury brands include Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Versace, Fendi and Gucci. When it comes to shoes, the bolder the better, it seems. She often wears soaring platforms and embellished looks featuring spikes, crystals and the like.
