Nick at Nite airing tribute to Matthew Perry, “Thanks for Being a Friend”

Nick at Nite is airing a special tribute to Matthew Perry, who died Saturday at age 54.

Matthew Perry: Thank You for Being a Friend, produced by Entertainment Tonight, will air Sunday, Oct. 29 on Nick at Nite at 10pm ET/PT.

The special will feature never-before-seen interviews with Perry, behind-the-scenes moments from the set over the past 35 years, and stories about Perry's best moments as Chandler Bing, as well as his bond with his costars, Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.

Immediately following at 10:30pm, Nick at Nite will air fan-favorite episodes of Friends featuring Perry as Chandler Bing. Episodes will continue to air all next week through Sunday, Nov. 5, beginning at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nick at Nite.

Perry portrayed sweet, sarcastic smart aleck Chandler Bing for 10 seasons on Friends, garnering an Emmy nomination. He also starred in films such as Fools Rush InThe Whole Nine Yards, and 17 Again. Perry earned two Emmy nominations for guest starring as Joe Quincy on The West Wing and post-Friends, went on to star in Studio 60 on the Sunset StripGo On, and The Odd Couple.
