Nick Cheung sports new look for latest directorial effort

16 Mar - One Cool Film recently revealed its upcoming movie line-up, which included Nick Cheung's third directorial effort.

As reported on Singtao Headline, the actor, who has directed two horror movies - "Hungry Ghost Ritual" and "Keeper of Darkness", returns with a new crime thriller, "Taste of Crime".

The studio has also released its first teaser trailer at the Hong Kong FILMART, which features Nick's character as he looks out to sea, interspersed with other scenes of a child running in the woods, a man being tortured, Nick running with a little girl, and multiple explosions.

It ended with his voice, saying, "I missed the smell of criminals."

However, it was Nick's style in the film that attracted the most attention. The actor, who has tried going bald, beefing up, white hair, and partial disfigurement for his movies, opted for the hobo look, complete with a long messy hairstyle and sporting facial hair.

The movie, filmed in Shanghai and Japan, is expected to be released at the end of this year.
