Nick Cheung laughs at becoming a "CAT III actor"

1 Dec - Nick Cheung seemed to be extremely entertained by the fact that his new movie, "Bursting Point" has been classified a Category III movie.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the premiere of the film, couldn't help but laugh at the idea that he and his co-stars like William Chan and Chrissie Chau are now "Category III" actors.

It is noted that Category III is a Hong Kong film classification that naturally means that it is for persons aged 18 or above only. However, it is usually linked to movies with a high level of sex and violent scenes.

"I think that the investors' decision would help preserve the appeal of the film," Nick added.

Meanwhile, the actor, who'd also celebrate his 59th birthday on 2 December, said that his wish is for the movie to be successful at the box office.

The film, which marks the reunion of Nick with director Dante Lam, stars William Chan as an undercover agent who is ordered by his Chief Inspector (Nick Cheung) to infiltrate a drug trafficking organisation, only for him to turn to the dark side.
