Yoon Soy Joins ‘Iris 2’ as a Beautiful and Brainwashed Spy
Yoon Soy is the latest actress to have joined KBS’ Iris 2.
The drama’s producers confirmed reports on January 24 that the actress will be part of the highly-anticipated drama.
In it, Yoon Soy will portray the beautiful spy agent, Park Tae Hee. Her character graduated at the top of her class from a prestigious university in Seoul but after meeting Joong Won (Lee Bum Soo) she becomes brainwashed and is illegally smuggled into the north. After receiving special training there, she returns to South Korea, where she operates as a spy.
Unlike her previous warm and friendly roles of the past, Yoon Soy’s new character is described as a beautiful yet cold and potentially dangerous character.
Iris 2 is continuing its shooting and is tentatively targeting a February 13 premiere date.
