Sylvia Chang urges Angelica Lee divorce Oxide

16 Jun – Worried about Angelica Lee's situation due to her husband Oxide Pang's extra-marital affair with young actress, Liddy Li, it was rumoured that the former's mentor, Taiwanese actress-director Sylvia Chang has urged the actress to leave her husband.

As reported on Singtao Daily, Sylvia allegedly advised the actress to divorce Oxide for fear that Angelica's faithfulness to a cheating husband might destroy her career.

Sources claimed that Sylvia told Angelica that Oxide's image is already tarnished and the entire Hong Kong population is against him because of the scandal and that he may drag her down as well if she continues to stay with him.

Reportedly, Angelica is still deliberating on the whole issue and told Sylvia that she will handle it calmly, saying that her career is her biggest priority.

Meanwhile, Sylvia has cancelled all promotional events for her new film "Lim Lim" in Hong Kong in order to protect the actress from the media.

v The film, which also marks the return of Isabella Leong, is scheduled for release in September.

Sylvia, who has been married for the second time to Hong Kong businessman, Wang Ching Hung since 1991, had looked quite upset when she was asked to comment about Angelica and Oxide's marital issues when she was spotted going to dinner in Taipei recently, saying, "A marriage must be managed carefully."
