Super Junior, Super Junior-M, Henry win 'Korea-Japan Top Sales Album' awards
Super Junior, Super Junior-M, and Henry garnered awards at 'IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards'.
On March 1st, 'IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards' took place at TVB Studion in Hong Kong, and Super Junior, Super Junior-M, and Super Junior-M's Henry garnered 'Korea-Japan Top Sales Album' together.
Super Junior received the award for 'SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR SUPER SHOW 4' album, Super Junior-M received the award for 'Break Down(Korean Ver.)', and Henry received the award for his first solo mini album, 'Trap'.
'IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards', hosted by International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, first launched in 2001, and was held annually since then. 'IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards' recognizes the most sold albums in one year. This year's event recognized albums under 17 different categories, and a great number of Hong Kong celebrities attended.
After receiving the award, Henry said, "Thank you for giving me this big award, and I'd like to express special thanks to all of my fans. I'd love to invite you all for some dim sum."
After receiving the performance, Henry performed his first solo mini album title track, 'Trap', which debuted #1 on music charts of Taiwan and Thailand.
The awards will air on March 15th through Hong Kong's channel TVB, and a great number of fans in the region are showing huge anticipation.
Meanwhile, Henry is recently appearing on MBC 'Real Man'. Super Junior members will be continuing their careers individually, and Super Junior-M will start unit group promotions.
