PSY's 'Gangnam Style' MV hits over 1.9 billion views on YouTube

PSY's 'Gangnam Style' music video surpassed 1.9 billion views.

As of February 8th, PSY's mega-hit reached this unprecedented milestone, and the number is still rapidly increasing at this moment as well.

PSY's 'Gangnam Style' MV was first uploaded on YouTube on July 15th, 2012, and the views went over 100 million on September 4th of the same year. On December 22nd, it became the first YouTube video clip to get over 1 billion views.

The number surpassed 1.5 billion on April 6th, and on October 23rd, the number reached 1.8 billion. Just in a bit over three months, it broke another record, reaching 1.9 billion. It seems that the number will surpass 2 billion views within this year.

The music video of 'GENTLEMAN', which was released on April 13th, also became the most video of 2013 as well. 'GENTLEMAN' MV exceeded 600 million views on December 13th, and now, the number is almost reaching 640 million.
