Nam Hung clarifies rumours about Chor Yuen

21 Aug – Former actress Nam Hung recently clarified rumours saying that her husband, veteran actor Chor Yuen, has been suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

According to a report on HK Top Ten, Nam Hung, who appeared at a charity Cantonese Opera show, denied that her husband has Alzheimer's. The rumour started after photos of the two of them entering a medical centre, with a gloomy expression on their faces, were published in the media.

"That day, I accompanied my husband for his monthly medical examination. Maybe it's because I did not wear any make-up and we were dressed casually, the paparazzi thought that we were depressed," said Nam Hung.

She continued, "My husband is in good spirits, though he is not a fan of going out of the house. He said that he used to be out on filming sets all the time, so now he just wants to stay at home, watch television, eat and sleep. He just enjoys family life."

Meanwhile, the former actress said that she now enjoys going out by herself, learning calligraphy, painting, singing and other hobbies.

"My husband won't go out with me. He said he used his brain too much before and doesn't want to use it too much now," she joked.
