Irish actor Liam Neeson is in final talks to end in a new terrorism-related thriller

Liam Neeson has entered final stage talks to join the cast of terrorism thriller “A Willing Patriot” as a CIA agent wrapped up in a cat-and-mouse game with a suspect threatening an imminent attack.

Martin Zandvliet, behind the upcoming “Land of Mine,” is also on board to helm the project being financial backed by Marc Butan’s MadRiver Pictures, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Neeson’s lead character, plagued by a dark past, is set to put everything on the line as he pursues his foe before tragedy strikes.

The Irish actor and Academy award nominee has garnered critical acclaim for his action hero roles, in part thanks to the successful “Taken” franchise.
