Li Bingbing has no plans to settle down
21 Jun – Enjoying the boost in her acting career with one Hollywood movie after another, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" actress, Li Bingbing confessed that marriage is not part of her plans right now.
According to Singtao Daily, the actress who recently was in Hong Kong with her Hollywood co-stars to promote the upcoming film said, "Whether I'm married or not is not important. To me, health and happiness is more important."
"Right now, I enjoy babysitting my sister's three-year-old-son," said the actress.
After playing the role of an intelligent female scientist and a company CEO in the movie, Li says that she felt that she has several similarities with her character.
"My actual personality is similar to my character in the film except that I am less womanly than her," said Li. "I am a strong woman, but westerners think that oriental women still have their feet bound. I want to change their opinion on this."
When asked on the type of man she likes, Li admitted that she loves watching the South Korean hit series, "You Who Came from the Stars", and chose Kim Soo-hyun's character, Do Min-jun as the perfect man.
"He is handsome, loyal, knowledgeable, thoughtful and rich. Who would not love a man like him? But his type is hard to find. But of course, he's an alien!" she joked.
In regards to her latest Hollywood film, Li expressed her gratitude to director, Michael Bay for his kindness and understanding. Li said that Michael allowed her to change her original image in the movie and he also gave her an action scene with her Hong Kong co-star, Ray Lui in Mongkok.
Meanwhile, when Li was asked to comment on the rumoured rivalry between her and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actress, Fan Bingbing, she jokingly said, "I prefer not to comment about other people's work, just mine."
