Lee Gwang Soo confirmed for new short drama 'Punch'

Lee Gwang Soo has been confirmed for a new short drama titled 'Punch (working title).'

On October 15th, a representative of King Kong Entertainment said, "Actor Lee Gwang Soo was confirmed for channel SBS' new drama, titled 'Punch,' as a lead role named Cho Jun Man."

Cho Jun Man is a cold-blooded and merciless private moneylender. However, he has a touching story deep inside his heart, and 'Punch' is going to show changes happening in Cho Jun Man's life after he becomes an ice hockey player.

The scenario of 'Punch' had received 'Best Scenario Award' during 'Sports Scenario Awards,' which was held back in April, and a great number of drama fans are showing huge anticipation for Lee Gwang Soo's comeback.

Recently, Lee Gwang Soo played in a new film titled 'Collective Invention' as a lead role, and the film received spotlights during a great number of international film awards.

Lee Gwang Soo became one of the most trusted and well reputated actors of Korea after playing drama 'It's Ok, That's Love' and movie 'Confession,' and he will captivate many viewers with another major transformation in 'Punch.'
