Kim Hee Ae says, "I stood up to get Yoo Ah In to cast in 'Secret Love Affair'"
Kim Hee Ae told that she called Yoo Ah In to get him to cast in drama 'Secret Love Affair'.
During an interview that she had with StarN recently, actress Kim Hee Ae highly complimented actor Yoo Ah In, who is casting in a new drama called 'Secret Love Affair' with her.
Kim Hee Ae said, "I saw him for the first time on a film called 'Wan Deuk', and I was amazed by his talent. I knew that he was going to become a big star."
She went on, "He casted in 'Elegant Lie' as my neighbor. It is not easy for actors to give up on clean and sharp looks, but he devoted all of himself during every shootings, and he never missed monitoring himself."
Kim Hee Ae also said, "I felt so thankful for the efforts that he showed, and I promised him that I would cast as his neighbor in his next film. Now, we got to cast as a student and a student. I wondered who would take my student part while reading through the scenario, and I am glad that Yoo Ah In got to do it. I don't know who else would've done it other than him."
She went on, "No matter how great an actor you are, you won't look as great if you cast in a drama or a film that does not fit you. In case of 'Secret Love Affair', Yoo Ah In lucked down on finding a perfect part for himself, and he showed a perfect job."
Kim Hee Ae also told that the production team of 'Secret Love Affair' asked Kim Hee Ae to contact him first, because she has acted with him in 'Elegant Lie'.
Kim Hee Ae chuckled, and said, "But, I didn't really talk to him much when shooting the film. They gave me his phone number, so I told them that I will try."
She also said, "Yoo Ah In told that he has been interested in 'Secret Love Affair' for a long time," and "Yoo Ah In is casting as a genius pianist, and the viewers will be able to find another side of him."
Meanwhile, drama 'Secret Love Affair' will premiere on March 17th at 9:50 PM.
