Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson reunite for "Shanghai Dawn"

16 May – More than a decade after the last sequel, Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson are set to reunite for a third instalment in the "Shanghai Noon" movie series.

Called "Shanghai Dawn", according to The Tracking Board, the project is currently looking for a writer to pen the script.

Chan and Wilson first partnered up back in 2000 for "Shanghai Noon", where Chan plays a Chinese imperial guard who travels to the Wild West to rescue a kidnapped princess and ends up teaming up with Wilson's character, a train robber..

Following the movie's success, grossing USD99.3 million at the box office, a sequel was released in 2003. "Shanghai Knights" once again teams up the duo, but this time they find themselves in London. The movie made USD88 million.

Chan is currently filming "Skip Trace" and will be voicing Master Monkey in "Kung Fu Panda 3", while Wilson can currently be seen on the big screen in "She's Funny That Way" and will star next in "Masterminds" and "Zoolander 2".
