Arnie reveals "Genesis" details

30 Mar – At this point, no matter how many times the "Terminator" films are going to be rebooted, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back.

According to Collider, the 66-year-old actor explained how the writers are going to write him in despite his aging features.

"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," Schwarzenegger said. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

Schwarzenegger added, "Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800, and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets a hold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good."

In this reboot, Jason Clarke ("Zero Dark Thirty") plays John Connor, while Emilia Clarke ("Game Of Thrones") plays his mother Sarah Connor. Jai Courtney plays Kyle Reese, a human resistance fighter sent from the future to protect her from the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent by Skynet.

Meanwhile, "Attack The Block" actor John Boyega revealed that he screen-tested for the role of Miles Dyson's son, Danny. For those who are uninformed about the series canon, Miles is the scientist who created Skynet. However, Boyega's involvement depends heavily on the results for his "Star Wars: Episode VII" audition.

"Terminator: Genesis" is directed by Alan Taylor ("Thor: The Dark World"). The film starts shooting in April and is slated for release on 1 July 2015.
