Character Names - the Rebels
Felicity Jones is Jyn Erso, a highly skilled soldier and warrior.
Diego Luna is Captain Cassian Andor, a Rebel Alliance officer.
Jiang Wen is Baze, a freelance assassin.
K-250, an enforcer droid - we guess this is Alan Tudyk’s mo-cap character.
Riz Ahmed is Bodhi, a Rebel soldier.
Pao, a fierce warrior - another CGI creation.
Donnie Yen is Chirrut, a spiritual warrior.
Bistan, a fierce warrior - another CGI creation.
Character Names - the Empire
Ben Mendelsohn is Director Krennic, the director of the Imperial Military. The book also reveals the new black-armoured Stormtroopers are called Death Troopers, and they’re described as “elite empire soldiers with the sole purpose of thwarting Rebel Alliance forces.”
Darth Vader
Several images in the book feature Darth Vader which suggests the long-standing rumour that he would appear in the film are well-founded.
New Ships
The book includes pictures of previously unseen vehicles including a Rebel Starfighter that looks reminiscent of an A-Wing with long fins projecting from the front, the Stormtrooper tank seen in the first trailer, and a TIE Striker.
