1. Courtyard by Marriott Melaka

2. Else Kuala Lumpur
Else launches its inaugural hotel at the iconic Lee Rubber Building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this August. Once the holiday residence site to Yap Kwan Seng, the Lee Rubber Building was constructed in the 1930s and was one of the tallest buildings of its time.
Today, the hotel's creative design core was "drawn together with the city's leading creatives and artisans, Studio Bikin, who have reimagined the space into an urban hideaway that embraces a modern, refreshing offering for today's traveller while celebrating elements of the past," says Justin Chen, Co-Founder of Else.
From the Mantra standard rooms to the sweeping Else Suite, the 49 carefully-designed rooms and suites are designed with soft palettes and natural tropical textures to create a paired-back yet modern escape.
Wellness facilities span throughout the hotel – the terrace and pool house are decked with cabanas and board games, offering a renewed perspective of Kuala Lumpur's skyline. Also created to renew and refresh are a state-of-the-art gym, a gratitude space and floating meditation pods. In contrast, there's the option to jump back into daily life with a Business Den offering a private meeting room, a communal co-working space, a sunken living room, a drawing room and a library.
The hotel's two curated food and beverage concepts include The Raw Kitchen Hall, an extension of its sister brand in Singapore, and Yellow Fin Horse.
3. Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur
Pan Pacific Hotels Group is expanding its sustainability-led brand Parkroyal Collection Hotels and Resorts with the official opening of Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking the biophilic brand's first launch beyond Singapore's shores.
Located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, the 527-room hotel offers luxury and holistic wellness in a local retreat that balances city living and tranquillity with premium touches in amenities, design and sustainability. The same mix-use complex also houses Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur, opening in the second half of 2022 with 210 luxury suites.
The design practice behind Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore, renowned DP Architects and FDAT, was responsible for the hotel's design facade.
Beneath its biophilic design, the hotel features environmentally conscious operations, including sustainable bathroom amenities, biodegradable packaging, filtered drinking water solution in every guestroom, and a food-waste management system.

4. Sunway Hotel Big Box, Johor
The new hotel is connected to the 46,000-square-metre Sunway Big Box Retail Park, which features big warehouse concept stores in an open-air strip mall and an adventure park, X Park Sunway Iskandar. Some of Johor's biggest attractions are not far away, including Legoland, Edible Park, Kota Iskandar, and the Johor Premium Outlets.
Sunway Hotel Big Box features five room categories with contemporary functional designs, complimentary Wi-Fi and wired broadband internet access, 50-inch Internet Protocol TV, electronic safe, sofa beds (usage upon request for selected categories), mini fridge and coffee and tea making facilities.
The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool with an attached children's pool, a pool bar and the Pendas Café. Other facilities available include three meeting rooms that can be combined to fit up to 200 persons in a banquet set-up with a 9ft LED video wall or partitioned into smaller breakout rooms for to 20 persons in a boardroom style set-up with an adjoining lounge serving refreshments.

5. Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts
Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, one of Hilton's luxury hotel brands, is expanding into Malaysia with Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur. Scheduled to open in 2024, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur will be developed and owned by Tradewinds Corporation Berhad and managed by Hilton. The hospitality group is intensifying its luxury presence with hotels in prime locations like Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka, Jakarta, Maldives, Bangkok, Beijing and Shanghai.
Guests can look forward to custom-designed interiors and furnishings at Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur's 279 suites. Room sizes will start from 76 square meters, offering guests the luxury of space to unwind and retreat.
The luxury hotel will also feature culinary excellence through five distinctive restaurants, including Peacock Alley, the iconic lounge and bar synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand, and a state-of-the-art wellness centre.
6. AMI Suites at Arte Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur
Situated in the heart of Mont Kiara, AMI Suites is a concept boutique hotel with sophisticated suites equipped with kitchenettes. The spaces are designed to feel vibrant, welcoming, and comfortable.
