New Blade Runner 2049 tease debuts ahead of full trailer

Here’s a new glimpse at ‘Blade Runner 2049’.

And it’s shaping up to be quite a movie.

Starring Ryan Gosling as LAPD Officer K, the upcoming ‘Blade Runner’ sequel takes place thirty years after the original, iconic sci-fi flick. And director Denis Villeneuve is hitting all the right notes as he channels the neon-soaked neo-noir tones of the original.

And with a full trailer coming this Monday, we can’t wait.

“There’s an order to things,” proclaims Robin Wright’s mysterious, Tyrell-style character. “That’s what we do here.”

But what does that mean?

Well, it’s up to Ryan Gosling’s Officer K to find out… as he plays a new Blade Runner who unearths a secret so huge, it has the potential to plunge society into chaos. And it’s up to him to track down Harrison Ford’s Deckard – an old Blade Runner who’s been missing for thirty years, and happens to be the only one who can help him.

It’s safe to say that ‘Blade Runner 2049’ is one of my most-anticipated movies of the year, and this cool new tease only makes me even more excited. The tone is right, the feel of it is just perfect… and the heavy synth tones is reminiscent of the Vangelis-themed original.
