New ‘Bill & Ted Face The Music’ photo is both bodacious and most excellent
Ed Solomon, the writer of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and the upcoming Bill & Ted Face The Music, has shared a brand new behind the scenes photo from the upcoming time traveling comedy, which can only be described with one word … bodacious.
Don’t believe me? Then just check out Solomon literally leaping with joy, with the biggest grin on his face the world has ever seen, while air-guitaring with his writing partner Chris Matheson. Oh yeah, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are trapped in the time-traveling phone booth, too.

What an image! Solomon took to Twitter to post the above picture in response to Barry star Anthony Carrigan joining the cast. It looks like a previously unseen outtake from Entertainment Weekly’s Bill & Ted reunion issue from March 2018.

Clearly the entire cast and crew of Bill & Ted Face The Music are in a rather happy place at the moment, as was rather evident by the online exchange between Solomon and Carrigan after the actor’s casting was confirmed.
Suuuuuuuper happy to welcome @Anth_Carrigan to the cast of @BillandTed3 ! We are all so pumped to have this comedic genius involved. https://t.co/5yELnhoHqf

@ed_solomon I’m beyond excited to be a part of this. My 8 yr old self has been playing air guitar non stop since I found out. 💯🤘🏻💯

The level of joy this tweet gives me can not be described. Let me just say that I, too, just did a very obnoxious little air guitar myself. https://t.co/ulVjN7Vl5O

Anticipation is high for Bill & Ted Face The Music. Not just because Keanu Reeves is undergoing a cinematic renaissance, thanks to the increasing popularity of the John Wick franchise and his hilarious turns in both Always Be My Maybe and Toy Story 4.
In the sequel, which arrives 29 years after 1991’s Bogus Journey, Winter’s Bill S. Preston and Reeves’ Ted Logan are told by a visitor from the future that they need to create a song that will save all life and the universe.

The pair are joined on this task by old friends, famous musicians, and their daughters Billie (Bridgette Lundy-Paine) and Thea (Samara Weaving), while William Sadler is returning as Death, too.
We’ll get to see what they create when Bill & Ted Face The Music is released on August 21, 2020.
