Netizens make fun of Jinny Ng's reaction to Hana Kuk's win
22 Jan – Although she has denied any rivalry with Hana Kuk time and time again, Jinny Ng recently became the butt of netizens' joke for her reaction to the former's winning Most Popular Female Singer at the JSG Awards.
As reported on HK01, a clip of Jinny's reaction recently turned viral, when the singer, who sat next to Hana when the announcement was made, laughed and clapped her hands happily in response to Hana's name being called.
She also gave her a pat in the back and a big smile, and waved her fingers for Hana to go on stage.
Jinny accepted the win happily - too happily, as netizens put it, unlike the normal reaction shown by fellow singers Pakho Chau who smiled and gave Hana a congratulatory hug.
It is noted that this is not the first time that netizens are questioning Jinny's sincerity in her gestures. She previously drew flak for congratulating Hana on
Instagram by saying, "Congratulations to the number one sister!", with many claiming that she was being sarcastic.
Both Jinny and Hana have denied any rivalry between them, which was first rumoured when the latter began to enjoy more success during Jinny's hiatus from the music industry following Jinny's unexpected pregnancy.
