Nelissa Nizam focuses on acting after leaving The Gadys
26 Dec – Nelissa Nizam is focusing on her acting career now that she is no longer with the girl group, The Gadys.
The actress, who has left the group for six months now, stated that she didn't want to cause any problems for anybody what with her busy acting schedule, which is why she decided not to be involved with The Gadys anymore.
She also dismissed the notion that she no longer has interest in singing, saying, "At the time, my thought was, I could no longer be with The Gadys. To sing, act, study and do my assignments, I have tried it but I couldn't."
"It would be best for me to just focus on one thing, so I am able to give my full energy on my acting," she said.
Nelissa also stated that while she is no longer with The Gadys, she does plan to release her own single next year.
The Gadys, which originally has four members, are now down to only two of the original members, Ayunie and Aznie, with the addition of Thamiera Chan.
Aside from Nelissa, another original member, Faa Zaini also departed from the group last year due to health issues.
